I added a rounded rectangle my shape of choice! I double clicked in the shape to add text to it the number. I used the paint bucket icon at the top to change the background of color to surprise! I copied and pasted the shape to get five of them on the screen. You can see this on the slides where all five responses are viewable. To display the answers, I just added another shape on top with a white background and the response in the text. This way uses a lot of slides, but it's the way I'm most comfortable with, so that's what I chose to do. I could have put the boxes with responses under the colored boxes with the numbers and had the colored boxes disappear with animations.
